I offer an optional 20-minute meet-and-greet for my clients free of charge. This is not a therapy session. It’s an opportunity for you to meet me and ask me questions. It is important to see if you feel comfortable moving forward with therapy and that my style is a good fit for you.
If you decide to move forward with therapy, I will provide you with the necessary forms to get the process started, and your initial appointment will be scheduled.
Before our first session, you can opt for the free meet-and-greet mentioned above. During this meet and greet, we will find a suitable time and day for your initial session focused on emotional wellness. After scheduling, you will complete the intake forms through my secure portal, which is essential for our telehealth counseling services. Please make sure to complete and return the forms at least 24 hours before your session. This allows me to download, print, and review the documentation, ensuring we can start promptly at our first scheduled session, whether it's for trauma therapy or any other services in Therapy Arizona or Therapy California.
Our first session typically involves an intake assessment that includes taking a psychological and social history, as well as developing a treatment plan collaboratively to support your emotional wellness. This process may extend over two sessions, depending on how much we can accomplish during our initial meeting.
Once the assessment and treatment plan are finalized, we will proceed with therapy sessions that focus on your needs, whether through telehealth counseling or in-person visits, depending on what we agree upon in those first appointments. This may include specialized approaches like trauma therapy, and we can explore options available in both Therapy Arizona and Therapy California.
