Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) aims to enhance and expand psychological flexibility. This concept of psychological flexibility involves emotional openness and the ability to adjust your thoughts and behaviors to align more closely with your values and goals.

Complex Grief Focused CBT

Complicated grief is intense grief after the death of a loved one that lasts longer than expected according to social norms and causes functional impairment. Complex Grief Focused CBT combines traditional CBT to help process emotions, reduce avoidance, and adjust to a 'new normal.'  Trauma-focused CBT may be utilized to address the underlying trauma associated with the loss.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a structured, evidence-based talk therapy designed to manage intense emotions, reduce self-harm, and improve relationships. It effectively combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy that decreases distress from traumatic memories. It employs bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, taps, or sounds, to assist the brain in reprocessing these traumatic experiences.   https://www.emdria.org/

KidNET

KidNET is a form of Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) tailored for children and youth.

Narrative Exposure Therapy

Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) is a short-term, trauma-focused treatment. It is particularly effective in addressing trauma. By helping patients construct a chronological life story, or 'lifeline,' NET contextualizes fragmented memories, reduces distressing symptoms, and enhances overall functioning. Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy is primarily used for individuals who have lost a sense of purpose in their lives and struggle to establish or maintain personal relationships. Clients learn to reflect and resolve their current difficulties and change their behavior in present relationships through deep exploration and evaluation of past experiences and emotions.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based treatment tailored for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, along with their parents or caregivers. Research shows that TF-CBT effectively addresses various emotional and behavioral issues associated with single, multiple, or complex trauma experiences.

Other Modalities Available

Internal Family Systems-informed therapy, Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Dialectical Behavioral Therapy,  Family Systems, Positive Psychology, and other evidence-based modalities will be determined between the client and the assigned therapist, based on the therapist's training.
